- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a member of the Professional Photographers of America (http://www.ppa.com/findaphotographer/68796/Marco-Hanson.php), I train continually (obsessively?) to refine my skills and keep up with developments in the field.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a photographer who taught me how to use my first camera when I was in elementary school. I can still smell those darkroom chemicals! (That's probably a sign of some kind of neuro-chemical damage.)
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would look first at the photographer's portfolio, second at reviews by past clients, and third at price. There is a huge range of quality in today's custom photography market. The technology has made entry into the field easier, which requires a savvy consumer to tell the amateurs from the pros.
