Introduction: I have been doing handyman for over 30 yrs from repairs to new construction.. I like to take the time to meet with my customers and to get to know my customers, also to make sure they are completely satisfied before we leave every job. I like to look at "all" jobs large & small, so I can give you a fair quote for your work. Most of my jobs come from referrals from my previous customers telling a friend or a business. I specialize in getting your house ready to sell and my "make-ready" work is usually fixing things ahead of the perspective buyers inspector. A new buyer thinks you've really taken care of your house when "their inspectors" can't find much to repair. We don't just do repairs, we also build decks, pergolas and painting, staining, fences and everything else. Read my reviews and check my job pictures to see my work. Bud and his crew installed french doors and added a deck to our home. Very pleased with his work. He is professional and showed up on time each day as he said he would. I'll be hiring him to complete more projects around our home. I highly recommend!

Bud was friendly, experienced, and did a good job but was a bit overpriced, by my estimate. On the first day, one of the items he needed to install was broken, so I paid him for the half day, which was fair, because he and his assistant did other things. A few days later, I got a new item and he came back, installed it and did a couple of other things, but was done and gone by noon; I was charged a full day for a half day of work.

What can I say about Bud? Not only is he an outstanding handyman, he's a man of his word and has become a friend after all the work I had him do at my house I bought about six months ago. First off, I was just looking for someone to install a custom fence in my front yard. I wanted mid-century breeze blocks to make columns for the fence and he helped with the design with the number that we had to work with and figured out what kind of paint we needed to get the color correct, as the brick was just absorbing the color and it wasn't turning out at all what it was supposed to be, but he figured it out, using a different type of paint, to achieve the correct color! It is a very nice, high-end-looking fence now. I am extremely pleased and get tons of compliments on it! He knew exactly what he was doing and the fence not only looks fantastic, but it is sturdy and excellent quality! He also did all the painting of the rooms I wanted painted in my house and did a beautiful job of painting my kitchen cabinets a gorgeous mint green color! He also installed my beautiful chrome mid-century hardware on the cabinets, too. He painted my fireplace and installed beautiful, funky mod-looking tiles in front of the fireplace, which when the people flipped the house before I moved in, they put the hardwood floors all the way to the edge of the fireplace, which was a fire hazard. So, I found these tiles at Ikea and he and I lined them up in the design and pattern that we wanted and I got to pick out the grout color I thought looked best, too. Once again, quality work from Bud!! We also did some accent paint colors on the exterior of my home, some of which were his idea, and that turned out beautifully, too. I purchased a very cool mid-century door with 3 diamond-shaped reeded windows going down the center and starburst doorknob and he installed the door perfectly and painted it also. I'm very pleased with it. He installed a few rain gutters in the front and back of house and custom painted those to match trim. I'm also very pleased with those. He also shared with me that he made a cage in another person's garage and a kitty door for the cats to have their litter boxes in the garage. I thought that was a brilliant idea and had him build one for me. It turned out really pretty, too, as we used turquoise for the wood color for the sides and the wood lid. He used galvanized steel for the pin and it is very sturdy. Bud worked quickly and efficiently and always showed up when he said he was going to. He even developed a relationship with my dog, two kittens, and cat! He was always talking to them while he was working and sometimes they would get in his way, but that didn't bother him, as he is an animal lover! I highly recommend him to anyone needing any kind of handyman work. I'll use him again and again and am so happy I found someone like Bud. It's just amazing that I was looking for someone to build a custom fence and I got someone who could do everything I needed! Don't hesitate to use Bud!

Bud and his helper were great! They did what they promised and more! Bud showed me his list of materials needed and said if there were any extra items that he didn't use in the job, he would return for me and give me back the credit - which is exactly what he did. He also helped me with my back door and gave me great advise on several small repairs that I needed. I know who to call anytime I need work done around the house!
