We had a very disappointing experience with Sunlight Cleaning. Although Rodrigo was pleasant to work with and managed to schedule cleaners within 24 hours, the cleaning itself was a complete letdown. The two cleaners who came over seemed disinterested and careless about the details. They ignored cleaning the window ledge, which was clearly specified on the checklist. They missed numerous spots throughout the bathrooms and floors, and shockingly, my guests pointed out hair left behind in the bathrooms. The toilets weren’t cleaned properly either.
The entire house was mopped in under 10 minutes, which explains the poor job—there was no attention to detail. They didn’t even bother to dry wipe the furniture; my nightstand was still covered in empty bottles from the night before. To make matters worse, they locked the toilet door, causing major inconvenience when we had to figure out how to unlock it. Even worse, they left sticky residue on my kitchen countertop and oven, making the house feel dirtier than before they arrived.
For the amount they charge, this service was unacceptable. I expected much better and won’t be using them again.
