- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, it's very important to keep up with new approaches and methods in hypnosis. I am a Certified Hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists, which provides many continuing education classes as well as videos.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check how many hours of hypnosis training your provider has completed. A good hypnotist should have at least 200 hrs of training. Most hypnosis schools offer much less than that. This was one important qualification that I looked for in choosing my school. I completed 300 hours of hypnosis training at HCH, including a 6 month supervised internship.
