I have been in the design business for over 25 years now and have first hand knowledge with interior design, architecture, remodel, construction and faux finishing. I've either owned or worked for companies with these practices and specifically, my knowledge for residential design came from working with the top interior designers in Houston and Miami. This knowledge gives me an edge over other designers who may not have had the opportunity to work within the fields of architecture and construction. My focus is helping the client with space planning and floor plan layout, design options, potential renovation challenges, color consultation, choosing materials and surfaces and guiding the client through contractor and construction challenges. For the fee that a client would pay for standard interior design, they receive a broader knowledge base and experience when they select me for their project. I get great satisfaction when my client realizes that there are better options to a design challenge than they would have ever considered before hiring me. To see the "I would never have thought of that" expression on their face and the renewed spirit that the client gains is my goal to client satisfaction. To have their trust in me to lead them through to the conclusion and their gratitude for the outcome is the reason I enjoy my work so much.
