Introduction: 35 years in business in the Austin area. A+ BBB Accredited since 2005 for 11 years of continuous accreditation. Never a single complaint. Have extensive knowledge of plants, grasses, they're diseases, and how to treat both chemically and organically. I also have extensive knowledge of soil types and depths in our area and which plants and grasses do well in the different soils and areas. I also understand how shade and climate affects grasses and plants. Drainage systems are only temporary fixes if the installer only knows water runs down hill. I have installed extensive systems on large and small projects and even in our heaviest rains have had no failures unless the surrounding also flooded. Water collection and distribution is also available. Licensed irrigator LI8482. Irrigation audits, repairs, and additions are also available. Some jobs are simple and do not require any more than simple labor. I enjoy jobs that are unique and require special consideration. A project must perform properly in the way it works first and then it has to be pleasant to look at or at least unobtrusive. It should have these qualities for many years, with minimal maintenance or repairs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have standard pricing due to terrain and soil differences in the central Texas area.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everybody has they're personal choices in plants, grass, and hardscape. There is also a budget. I try to advise the customer in they're choice of size and type of materials as well as installation methods to accommodate the desired budget, and as always the materials and budget must allow for function and longevity. Some jobs require phases.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started landscaping in the1970's during summer vacation from school. I worked with a man (Tony) a few years older than I. Tony had a degree in Horticulture, his dad and my dad were home builders. Tony and I got jobs thru our dads and got a lot of exposure in the neighborhoods our dads built in. I have 21yrs experience as a supervisor with one of Austins older and larger landscape companies. I also was temporary GM of a large nursery. I was there for a short time due to owner changes. I also have irrigation education with license as well as the state required annual continuing education.
