I was attending a wedding in Austin (from San Diego) and wanted to get my hair and makeup done. This was my first time on Thumbtack and was very skeptical. Rudy was amazing to work with! She was so responsive to all my messages from the very start. She is so easy to work with and truly cares about your look. She made me feel so comfortable from the moment she started. DO NOT HESITATE. I came to thumbtack as a hail mary. I had a professional fitness photoshoot the next day and needed someone last minute for makeup (at 6:30AM nonetheless). I was a little nervous to work with someone new, who I didn't know. I'm not kidding when I say it was my favorite makeup I've ever gotten done. She listened to exactly what I was looking for and I felt beautiful. The makeup held up flawlessly for the shoot and the rest of the day. She was responsive and quick when making the plan. She came to my house prepared with all her gear and a chair for me to sit in. Can't wait to work together again.
