FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate for couples and families is $120 per 50 minute session. It is important to me I offer services to clients at all income levels so please contact me if you feel my rate is a barrier to therapy.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before our first session, I recommend we meet briefly over the phone with a free consultation. I think it is helpful for us to discuss any challenges you are faced and determine if we are a good match. After our phone consultation, I typically recommend our first sessions be 2 hours as the first session is our getting to know each other and game planning session for the course of therapy. After the first session, we will work together to determine a plan that works for you for future sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Counseling from St.Edward's University here in Austin and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am also level one certified with Gottman training for couples therapy and a certified Bringing Baby Home facilitator for new parents. As a collaborative therapist, I have attended the International Summer Institute to further my own professional and personal insight into how collaborative therapy can benefit clients through our many conversations.
