Lucas's treatment space is centrally located and relaxing. My session with him was great and he made acupuncture treatment very un-intimidating and approachable. He listened intently and asked good questions and provided thoughtful explanations to the multitude of questions I had. It had been a while since I had been to an acupuncturist and I was nervous that it would hurt but was amazed at how little discomfort I felt throughout the whole process. I went into see him for stress management (and also happened to have a headache at the time) and left headache-free and feeling extremely relaxed, and felt reinvigorated and re-balanced several days after! I will definitely be heading back for more treatments soon.

Lucas Brown is an incredibly gifted and compassionate practitioner. When my sister moved to Colorado to expand her clinic, I had become accustom to receiving acupuncture treatments at least once every two weeks. After her departure, I was unsure as to who could understand, care for, and properly address my unique issues. Outside of the standard amount of stress most humans suffer from, I carry around a fair amount of anxiety and inflammation, am a single parent, holding two full time jobs, and am a 13 year cancer survivor.
The first session with Lucas was wonderfully relaxing. The intake process was quick and concise and I got the sense that he took the time to read through my information prior to our session. I was confident that, together, we had identified all of my concerns, as well as areas where he felt we should explore. Afterward, I had a more deep rooted feeling of relaxation that lasted for the following three days. It is a gift to feel at peace and truly comfortable within my own skin.
I can’t thank Lucas enough for the work that he does and am looking forward to sending my mother to see him on a consistent basis. Lucas has had success with reducing clients’ joint inflammation as to avoid major surgery and I am confident that we will see the same level of success for preventing her major knee surgery. I highly recommend that everyone, especially those that suffer from chronic pain, develop a maintenance routine with Lucas. He has working knowledge of herbs, supplements, and lifestyle enhancements to complement the treatments and is comfortable navigating insurance coverage to see what, if any, reimbursements are possible.

I've been getting treatment from Lucas for a little over a year now and he has helped me with all sorts of issues, particularly allergy relief and low back pain. He is professional and knowledgeable and his treatments are deeply relaxing. If ever my body feels a little "off," or I'm experiencing any pain, I can call him and he can get me an appointment promptly. I always leave feeling more balanced and like a better version of myself from when I walked in.
So, I'm a bit of a weenie when it comes to needles, but Lucas has a calm and cheerful disposition which puts me at ease whenever I get on the table. He's great and I would highly recommend his services!

lucas is a wonderful acupuncturist...he is both caring and knowledgable. on many occasions he has successfully treated my chronic neck/shoulder pain with long lasting relief. i would recommend lucas in a flash... if i still lived in austin, there is no doubt he would still be my acupuncturist.
