FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is custom priced based on size, detail, materials, and timeline. I offer free consultations and can work within a variety of budgets depending on the scope of the project. Smaller projects like chalkboards, window painting, and simple signage may have flat rates, while larger murals are typically quoted by wall size and complexity. I’m happy to offer bundle pricing for multi-wall projects, repeat clients, restaurants, events, and creative businesses. Travel fees may apply for projects outside the Austin area.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning about the client’s vision, space, and goals for the project. Once I have an idea of the style, size, and location, I’ll provide an estimate and discuss concepts, colors, and inspiration. For murals and larger custom pieces, I typically create a sketch or mockup before painting begins to make sure we’re aligned creatively. Throughout the process I keep communication clear and collaborative so clients feel involved and confident. Once the design is approved, I schedule the project, prep the space, complete the artwork, and do a final walkthrough/touch-up if needed. My goal is always to create something unique, high-quality, and tailored to the space and client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been working professionally as an artist for several years, with experience across murals, signage, and custom hand-painted work. I’ve been creating chalkboard signs for about 7 years, painting murals for 3 years, and doing window painting professionally for the past year. Most of my training has come from hands-on experience working with restaurants, cafés, small businesses, events, and creative spaces. Over the years I’ve developed skills in typography, large-scale painting, design layout, color composition, and adapting artwork to different environments and client needs
