- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began working in law firms when I was 15. I found the use and interpretation of words intriguing. I quickly worked my way up the ranks and by me early 20's I was the sole Paralegal for a personal injury firm in Idaho. One of my job duties involved writing demand letters to the insurance agency that had to accurately describe the situation and environment leading up to the injury. Again, I was intrigued by the careful crafting of words required for a successful claim. Naturally, my love of words drew me into the world of contracts and my current position as a Contract Specialist for a large hospital group in Austin, as well as my new business Where do I sign? - What types of customers have you worked with?
I am available to perform all notarial functions. As of late, I have been asked to perform notary and signing agent work for a national bank. I will travel to the borrower's home, place of business or the bank to review and notarize closing documents for loans that are being refinanced. I love the work and enjoy meeting new people several times a week. These assignments typically take place anytime from 5:00 pm to however late is necessary. I'm here whenever and wherever its most convenient for you.
