Teresa Christian was an amazing help when I was in an accident with a truck driver in the beginning of 2017. Teresa was very professional and was always available to answer questions when needed. I had contacted one other attorney before contacting Teresa, and they were very aggressive in trying to get me to sign contracts before even scheduling a consultation. After contacting Teresa, and agreeing to work with her, she was already setting up appointments to get us looked at by doctors and told us to sign the paperwork while waiting at the doctors office. She was very quick in getting to work and made it easier for me to relax after the accident. She kept me up to date with everything going on with the case and let me know ahead of time about any upcoming changes that I should be expecting. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You’ll never pay out of your pocket. My fees are contingent, which means collected out of any recovery.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically gather information from the client, explain what the client can expect, ensure the client is getting or has gotten medical treatment and understands how we will prove his or her damages, and investigate liability. I’m readily available for discussing clients’ questions and concerns throughout the process. Communication with clients is vital to the attorney-client relationship.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Juris Doctor, St. Mary’s University School of Law. I have only practiced in the area of personal injury so I feel I am highly qualified in this area.
