Introduction: A good question I’m constantly asked is: “what is my style?” My answer would be one that is pretty true to life. For most of the day I take photojournalistic, candid shots. However, right before and after the ceremony I allot time for wedding party, family and couple portrait sessions, which are a mix of documentary and traditional images. The method I employ involves getting people to walk into poses to give it a more natural look along with capturing candids of the groups playing around right before the actual poses This gives the client so many different beautiful varieties of images to choose from. As far as coloring is concerned, I like to see the natural skin tones of the people I shoot in my images. That said I love a rich, milky quality with my blacks to give it a slight retro look but not overbearingly so. For a normal day I usually give my clients 500 to 700 edited images depending on the timeline. Ultimately, we cover the whole day getting tones of candids and portraits.
