I took one of his final cut pro classes over 10.2.3 and it was super informative. I have been editing with final cut for over a decade now and I was still picking up useful skills. I also had friends at apple who had him as a trainer who raved about him.

Jon has been super generous with tips and ideas for Final Cut Pro. I've also had some specific challenges with multiple frame rates and audio problems, Jon was very helpful in solving my issues and helping out. He's first on my list for solutions and learning, highly recommended.

When we want help, we ask 3 questions from the expert that we want help from.
1) He must know the answers and be humbled enough to let you know that he will come back quickly with the correct answer.
2) When you reach out to them, it must be easy and quick to find them. Nothing more annoying then to have to wait for them to get back to you.
3) They must respect every question you have for them, even if it sounds silly for them, because we will not ask for help if we knew the answer.
If you looking for help and the top 3 are in your top 10 list, Jon is your guy. He is extremely knowledgable in all levels in his field and if you are a person that falls between asking someone help from a dummy question all the way up to a platinum question, look no further. I gave him a 5 star because of his attitude to want to help people, being humble and his expertise.
