I will be upfront and say this review did not begin as a 5 star, however, even in my frustration I realized that all involved are only human and humans make mistakes. About a week ago a storm knocked over a tree into our backyard, thankfully there was no damage but it took up more than half of the backyard space. Due to it being a weekend I sent an email and figured I'd hear back on Monday, when I hadn't I did a request through the portal and recieved a response within an hour (noted for the future, portal is the best way to go). We set up a time for them to come out and it would be done within a few days. Sadly that date was missed, long story and some back and forth emails, I recieved a call at 9pm on Saturday from Will who was understanding to my frustrations and had a crew come out the next morning. Orginally there had been a miscommunication and the vendor went to the wrong property, it happens. Needless to say the crew arrived on time on Sunday, took care of the job, were polite, and then were on their way. It might not have been perfect or exactly when I wanted it BUT it was done and the team took responsibility for the error and made it right. That is both impressive and appreciated.

We have a rental property in Central Austin but are out of town frequently, so hired Keyrenter in 2018 to market and manage the condo. Jonathan is a friendly pro who runs a topnotch operation, all of whom are a pleasure to deal with. They are also very current on evolving tenant/landlord law in Travis County-- one of our concerns-- and their fees are fair and clearly disclosed. The team is responsive and personable, and the company provides quality maintenance services without nickel-and-diming owners. On the flip side,? They handle tenant needs quickly, and make things to work out for both parties. ( I have done the landlord thing on my own in the past, and that can be hard to navigate.) Honestly, this has been a no-hassle deal, and I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We recently just had to move on short notice because our previous landlord/property management company was so unprofessional. My girlfriend and I were very weary when starting the process over at a new home. That feeling was incredibly short lived. Kary has done a phenomenal job helping us transition. This has been the easiest move we have ever had. KeyRenter has a great online portal to pay rent and set up maintenance requests. Everyone we have worked with has been friendly, professional, and responsive. Kary has been kind and understanding of our situation has worked with us to make everything as painless as possible. I cannot recommend them enough. Whether you are renting and they are your management team, or you own and need a management team. I don't think you will be able to find a better team to have on your side. We are really looking forward to the next few years (hopefully!) of renting and having KeyRenter as our PM.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing system used by Keyrenter is simple. We charge a fee to place a new tenant into the home (if needed) and we charge a monthly management fee, which covers rent collection, all the communication with the tenant, maintenance oversight, regular inspections, move in and move out process, handling the deposit and much more. The fee includes many services usually overlooked by owners: Aggressive Advertising Virtual Tours Thorough Tenant Screening Property Showings Bullet Proof Lease Agreement 24/7 Emergency Response Move-In Assistance Excellent Customer Service Consistent Maintenance Processes Regular Inspections Accounting and Monthly Statements Online Owner and Tenant Portals Variables that affect the service fee include the type of property, location, number of units, etc. It is impossible to quote a price without knowing the current lease arrangement and details of each individual property.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are licensed real estate agents (licensed in the state of Texas). We also participate in recurring training events and programs hosted by Texas Realtors as well as local property management associations.
