Well, it is not a secret that when students start learning English, they pay too much attention to Grammar and Vocabulary instead of Pronunciation. The students may know grammar and vocabulary very well, but when it comes to speaking English, they start using sounds of the native language to speak English. This sound replacement creates an accent and problems with fluency. I developed a concept that helps you learn faster and better. We will address facial muscle training and proper explanation using ADVANCED 2D SOUND MOTION TECHNOLOGY. We will also work on your mindset toward learning a new sound implementation because many sounds in American English do not exist in your native language, which requires an efficacious approach to create those in your way. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀A confluence of these techniques will help you UNDERSTAND American Phonetics effortlessly. You will compare the difference between your native language pronunciation and the American one, allowing you to learn the American sound system quickly and more EFFECTIVELY. Most teachers providing pronunciation classes do not know these "language techniques"; they just simply "give a lecture" or ask you to repeat! ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ COURSE PHILOSOPHY 🔶 INDIVIDUAL APPROACH 🔶 When learning an American accent with a professional linguist, it is essential to understand that this work is individual and tailors the learning process towards your needs, goals, and preferences, improving your American pronunciation and fluency in speaking English. Individual approach, solid partnership relationship, and careful guidance throughout your American Accent Training are essential and centered in my teaching philosophy. 🔶 2D SOUND MOTION TECHNOLOGY🔶 2D Sound Motion Technology for teaching American sounds and accent: A technology that uses two-dimensional visual and auditory feedback to help learners improve their pronunciation and fluency in American English. This technology helps learners understand the sound system of American English and how to produce the sounds correctly.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 🔶 INTELLECTUAL INTERACTION🔶 A process of exchanging ideas and information between the professor and a student while mastering the American Accent during Speech Therapy. This process involves various educational and psychological approaches that I will be applying to enhance your American Sounds and Intonation learning and see how all these features relate to the human mind and behavior, implementing them into your daily communication in your English speaking. PROGRAM PRICE AND FEES ❇️ Individual Learning: One-on-One classes - $150/hour BENEFITS: 2D Sound Motion Technology+ Structured Program with Phonetic exercises, practice phrases, Sentence practice, and Paragraph Practice (available in the classroom only in One-on-One Learning) I use 2D video sound technology to educate my students. 2D Sound Motion Technology for teaching American sounds and accent: A technology that uses two-dimensional visual and auditory feedback to help learners improve their pronunciation and fluency in American English. I work in technology, and the growth in my career has been impacted due to my English skills and accent issues. I am so lucky to find prof. Alex on this platform and happy that I took the first step of reaching out. You may find a lot of teachers to train accent reduction, but Alex's approach is entirely different; he starts with basics from organs of speech and helps to pronounce consonants and vowels. He uses 2D Sound Motion Technology to help me UNDERSTAND and SPEAK American sounds which is drastically improving my American English speaking and listening. He also uses his psychology skills to change our habits and sometimes mind set. I think it is important to have an accent coach who can guide you professionally. Most ESL coaches and sometimes high paid coaches just asking you to repeat after them which never made sense to me! Prof. Alex is all about science and scientific approach which WORKS! Accent reduction can not be achieved by teaching how to pronounce words; it is a behavioral change, and prof. Alex knows precisely how to achieve it. He has been a GREAT help in my American accent training! If you want to reduce your accent and be confident in your conversation, register for a session with prof. Alex. No regret! It is the best INVSTENT I have ever done in my life!

The short story is: this program works perfectly. My American accent and listening skills improved drastically! I am very satisfied with my new accent after being in this program for over a year. Its not just my spoken English that’s improved, my listening also improved magically. I love going to movies, but in America there are no subtitles and I was translating in my head, but NOW IT IS A MIRACLE! I ENJOY my going out and watching movies just like that! Alex explained in detail how to pronounce each sound. It’s hard to change the way you speak when you have spoken like this for years. Alex would try different techniques until I could pronounce them correctly, and from there, he provided recording of words, phrases and sentences which I can follow to practice repeatedly. I recommend Prof. Alex's American Accent Training Program who wants to improve speaking accent and listening skills to enjoy life in the us and be a very ADVACNED English speaker! Thank you, Alex! You are a truly the best PRO!

Hey Yue! Thank you for your feedback! I think it will be very helpful for others to learn how to succeed in American Accent Training as you did! Prof. Alex's Feedback: Yue, a Mandarin speaker, who encountered several challenges while learning the American accent due to the fundamental differences between Mandarin and English. Here are some of the key challenges: Pronouncing sounds at the end of words: Yue omitted consonants at the ends of words because most Chinese words end in vowels, while English words often end in consonants. Avoiding extra vowels: There’s a tendency to add a neutral vowel sound, like a schwa (‘uh’), after final consonants or between consonant clusters, which can alter the intended pronunciation of English words. Yue had been working a lot on that issue and overcame it somehow in the middle of the program. Lengthening vowels: English vowels are typically held longer than Mandarin vowels, and their length can vary with intonation. Short vowel sounds might make it difficult for listeners to understand the words. Learning American English intonation: Mandarin uses pitch differences to signify meaning in every syllable, whereas English uses pitch and vowel length in more varied ways to express emotion or emphasis. This can result in Mandarin speakers sounding monotone or having difficulty with English intonation patterns. Mastering the ‘r’ and ‘th’ sounds: These sounds are often challenging for Mandarin speakers, and Yue was not an expectation! She worked so hard to pronounce the American sound. For example, Cantonese speakers might use an ‘l’ sound for an ‘r’, or omit the ‘r’ at the end of words. The ‘th’ sounds are often mispronounced as ‘s’, ‘z’, ‘t’, or 'd’1. Summarize: These challenges can be overcome with targeted practice and training, such as the use of 2D Sound Motion Technology, which I use in accent reduction training. Great job, Yue!

“Alex’s teaching is TOP-NOTCH! It took me just over a year to reach a level of English that’s nearly indistinguishable from a native speaker. Alex is unparalleled in coaching accent reduction for non-native speakers. Like many, I had my doubts about achieving such fluency. But Alex shattered those doubts. I’ve learned that mastering American English requires patience and dedication. Alex’s professionalism was evident as he navigated me through the toughest parts of my accent reduction journey. He was incredibly supportive, especially when I felt like throwing in the towel. After discussing my hesitations with Alex, his encouragement fueled my determination to soar even higher. He’s a TRUE LEADER. All the hard work and investments have paid off, and now I’m extremely confident in my English speaking and overall communication skills!” I strongly recommend you to take a couple of sessions to test your ability for change - is the best way to test yourself! Alex, you are the best!!!

"I met Prof. Alex at ACC when I came to the US. I needed to improve my grammar and speaking skills, and Prof. Alex was a great help! I learned so much from term to term. I joined Alex’s American Accent Program several months ago, and I loved it a lot! Working on my American accent is very important to me because it allows me to easily understand my co-workers and friends. Alex is a talented professional who knows how to teach accent reduction. He explains all the movements of my speech organs and identifies mistakes in my pronunciation. What's priceless is that he gives me feedback on how to move my organs correctly to sound American! Sometimes, it is difficult to understand, and when I do not understand, he shows me 2D Sound Motion, and I EASILY get it! Not only is he a great professor, but he is also an amazing mentor and leader. I share his ideas of a positive teaching philosophy and his attitude toward life. He knows how to teach students and explain the most difficult language situations to them. I have been learning American pronunciation for quite some time, and it has been an excellent experience. I started to hear sounds of American English I had never heard before. My listening skills have improved, and I no longer ask people to repeat what they told me. I started to enjoy watching movies without translating from Spanish into English, among many other benefits I am learning! Alex developed the American Accent Program that includes many phonetic exercises and practice sentences to train how to speak American English. All exercises are supported by an audio course that Alex enrolled me in. I like his Learning Management Platform because I have all my materials in one place, organized and structured for me to keep practicing. I recommend Alex’s American Accent Program to everyone who wants to speak English confidently and fluently! You will love to work with him! Alex, you are the best!"

Dear Carlos, It's my great pleasure to coach you and see your progress in learning the American Accent! You are doing a great job, and I thank you for committing to achieving your goal and becoming a successful person! Prof. Alex’s Feedback: Pronunciation of Consonants and Vowels: Carlos initially struggled with the pronunciation of certain consonants (/r/, /t/, /z/, /th/) and American vowel sounds. The distinction between similar English vowel sounds, such as in “beat” and “bit,” which often sound identical in Spanish, was particularly challenging. Through dedicated phonetics exercises, Carlos has significantly improved his clarity and pronunciation. Consonant Sounds at the End of Words: Another area of difficulty was the pronunciation of consonant sounds at the end of words. Since Spanish rarely ends words with more than one consonant sound, Carlos tended to drop or alter the final consonant sounds, affecting the clarity of his speech. For instance, “text” would sound like “tex” or “tes,” and “mind” like “min” or “mine.” Stress and Intonation Patterns: Mastering the stress and intonation patterns of American English was a complex task. Carlos initially used a limited intonation range, influenced by spelling, with rising intonation for questions and falling for statements. However, English stress can alter the meaning or function of a word, and various intonation patterns can express different emotions, attitudes, and intentions. For example, the word “present” can be a noun or a verb based on stress placement, and the question “You’re leaving?” can convey different meanings through intonation. Carlos has overcome these challenges and now speaks with a clear American accent. I am thrilled with his progress and confident in his continued success. Conclusion: Carlos, your dedication to improving your American accent is commendable. I am excited to see where your new skills will take you. Best wishes for your future endeavors! Warm regards, Prof. Alex
