Nando was very accommodating and came to my neighborhood to give me a free lesson to see if we would be a good fit. I am able to work on grammar and conversation with Nando and get extra help that I am not able to receive by taking group classes.

Fantastic first Spanish lesson where we went over his approach to learning a new language and did a few sample activities and exercises. The best part? The first lesson is free to get a sense for whether or not he is a good fit for you. I'll definitely be doing more lessons over the next few weeks!

I never realized that learning language could be so fun until I started working with Nando. He comes prepared for every lesson but is also flexible and can change the course of the lesson to ensure engagement remains high.
I used to use Rosetta Stone for learning French until I discovered Nando. I did one lesson and was hooked and now work with him multiple times a week. I also decided to pay him extra versus his rates due to the value I'm getting. He comes to my house and also my workplace which makes the whole process convenient and focused on my needs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer two options:
1. I give you a nice discount ($50 off) for signing up for a package of ten (10) one-hour lessons (materials included) for $300 and paying in advance.
2. Individual pay-as-you-go one-hour lessons for $35 each.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet and do a sample trial lesson. Usually, I can tell right away where exactly the person is in the process and what he/she needs to work on. I then apply a lot of techniques I know to help them learn what they need to know.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied German in Berlin and saw, experienced how the Germans teach German.I studied French in Paris and saw, experienced how the French teach French. I studied Hebrew in Israel and saw, experienced how the Israelis teach Hebrew. I studied linguistics in college.
