Taylor West
About
I have over three years of experience with language instruction in Spanish, English, and Italian. I have taught Spanish at a private school in Austin, given over 50 hours of private lessons, and am currently a part-time language instructor at Berlitz.
I lived in Spain for seven years where I completed my undergrad and my masters in History. I also lived in Rome, Italy for one year. At the moment, I am completing my dissertation at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (also in History). I love learning new langauges and enjoy helping others with the process!

If you want to learn Spanish language with a positive, supportive, extremely knowledgable and understanding tutor, you will find no one better than Taylor West. Not only has he made learning Spanish easy and fun, but his knowledge of the language is so extensive that he has specialized our sessions to emphasize Spanish spoken in our future home, Costa Rica. His lessons are well prepared, entertaining and the study materials he provides are based on reinforcing skills acquired in previous lessons. We genuinely look forward to seeing Taylor for each lesson. We highly recommend Taylor without any reservation!!! Diane and Chris

Taylor is a fantastic teacher. He is engaging, kind, helpful, reliable, patient, and flexible, and he has helped me stay focused and committed to improving my Spanish. I began a couple months ago and have seen a considerable difference in my fluency and comprehension. Since he is a very experienced teacher, he is efficient and organized, which helps him make great use of your class time. Overall, I highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their Spanish!
