About
I am currently in graduate school studying Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Before that, I studied biology and neuroscience at UT Austin. I have a solid foundation in math and science and am a part time tutor in these subjects. I have helped people with math, physics, chemistry, history, writing and reading and to prepare for the GED, SAT, TSI and ACT tests. I love tutoring because it so rewarding to see student’s confidence in their own abilities improve. I think this carries into many aspects of our lives when we can be confident in ourselves.

Jackie has been the greatest help to our daughter our daughter started High School this year and has went from C and B student to an honor roll student . She is very patient with our daughter . Our new tutor listened to us and made some wonderful suggestions which we are taking her up on. She seems to seem knowledgeable and interested in not just tutoring but offering ways we can help ourselves in preparing for the coming school year.

Working with Jackie these past few weeks has been great. My goal was to get better at the math portion of the SAT and quicker with math in general. I feel much more clear and confident with my test taking ability. I would recommend Jackie to anyone who is looking for help with test taking strategies, math concepts and math practice.
