We are a locally owned and operated tile installation & remodeling services company. We believe in providing great service at a reasonable price, and build long term relationships with our clients and our community of central Texas by always doing the right thing. We operated The Grout Medic of North Austin for 3 years and repaired over 200 poorly constructed showers and poor tile installation. As a result, we are now focused on getting these projects done right from the start, to provide home owners a quality service and long term peace of mind.

Michael and his tech were outstanding! They did exactly what I asked them to do in a timely fashion that fit both parties schedule. The tech (Juan J) was able to successfully remove, clean, and install 22 (discontinued) porcelain tiles perfectly. I could not be happier with the quality, professionalism, and affordable price!! Michael was very knowledgeable about the shower issue I had and recognized the root cause and proposed a solution right away. The price was very reasonable.
After I approved the invoice, Alan came to repair the issue. Alan went above and beyond and was very meticulous in his work and even cleaned the shower door liner. Extremely high quality of work, very nice service and truly above and beyond.

We had a great experience with grout medic from start to finish. They were super responsive, thorough and professional. Our shower floor was cracking and they did a wonderful job replacing it. We would 100% recommend and use them again. Before and after picture.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In-home estimates are free and can be scheduled by calling or messaging us.
We do offer multi-room discounts, and run special promotions from time to time.
Pricing depends on several factors including total surface area, size of the tile, grout line size and type, whether the sealant is clear or needs to color-match a specific color etc...
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to start with an in-home estimate to ensure we fully capture the expectations, needs, and constraints for the project. It is also an opportunity to confirm that potential underlying issues are not overlooked, and educate our clients where applicable.
Most estimate visits take 15 minutes or less.
We guarantee a 24hr or less turn time on the estimate, but strive to get it emailed on the same day as the estimate visit.
The client can "Accept" the estimate online, which then triggers a call from our scheduling team to get the project scheduled.
Our Service platform ensures that we communicate at every step of the process through automated text and email messages or calls.
Payment is due in full upon completion of the service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our Technicians must have industry experience prior to joining our team, and they are fully cross trained and periodically evaluated by our Lead Service Technician, a veteran of our industry with more than 25 years experience.
