- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sessions are $100 an hour. Sliding scale rates are available down to $60 if needed. My celebrant rate ranges from $100-$500 depending on your needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist associate. I have a masters in counseling psychology, a BFA in theatre studies, and I am ordained as an interfaith minister. I work at a non-denominational church and I am also an active hospice volunteer.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Therapist: It can be so hard to take the first step, but I would advise anyone looking for a therapist to talk to at least three professionals before you pick someone to work with. Celebrant: In Texas, pretty much anyone can go online, get ordained, and preform a wedding. However, what couples should be looking for is someone able to stay completely calm and cool under pressure, someone who radiates joy and unconditional positive regard. A talented officiant can set the tone for the entire wedding by engaging the crowd and the couple in the magic of the sacrament.
