About
My name is Morgan and I am a certified Vinyasa and Yin Yoga teacher. I believe that one of the greatest benefits of the practice (besides a good workout) is anxiety and stress relief and so I aim to incorporate elements of therapeutic practices such as mindfulness and meditation when appropriate. I have been teaching Yoga for the past 8 years and have worked with both beginners and advanced practitioners. My background is mainly in heated Power Yoga but I also teach Restorative, Yin, and more Ashtanga-based classes as well. I enjoy teaching challenging classes and helping students grow stronger, more balanced, and increase their flexibility. I absolutely love to teach private sessions where we can work 1:1 on your Yoga goals whether you are concerned with the anatomy of certain physical postures or are looking for injury rehab and how to modify within the practice. I also teach corporate and group classes. My goal is to help you align with your breath, body, and overall sense of well-being. I am also open to working with your budget so that both of our needs are met. Namaste!

Morgan was absolutely wonderful. I am an intermediate yogi and wanted Morgan to help me make sure I had a strong yoga foundation and to aid me in trying more advanced poses I was too timid to try in a class setting. She let me personalize my sessions. I chose to spend the first half with a flow to target muscles that were tight. She greatly helped me improve my form on basic yoga poses. In the second half of my sessions, we would work on inversions (crow, side crow, headstand, forearm stand). Morgan suggested difference drills and poses to strengthen weak areas (shoulders, core) that I will continue to do for my yoga journey. I would recommend Morgan to everyone! She has a calming presence and is very knowledgeable in all things yoga!

I've long felt that regular yoga would be a good addition to my life, but I could never get it to stick. All the classes I took were either not engaging or not demanding enough. And then I found Morgan. After only 1 class I knew Morgan would stick. I've since taken countless classes of hers, as well as a number of private lessons. She is super knowledgable about anatomy and the physical side of yoga. It's really hard to establish and maintain integrity in your poses, but her lessons have taken me a long way. She's given me a bunch of exercises and things to work on that have been incredibly helpful. It always amazes me how I can think I'm doing a pose correctly, then she makes a subtle adjustment that feels like exactly what my body needs. And she's equally knowledgeable and skilled at the spiritual side of yoga. She is great at holding space and meeting you where you are, to allow your practice to be whatever you want it to be. She is a great guide with everything from specifics, like the intricacies of a pose, all the way to more meta questions about what role you want yoga to play in your life. Yoga has done wonders for my life on and off the mat in the 2 years since I started practicing regularly, and I have Morgan to thank for that.

Morgan is such an incredible soul. When I first started practicing, I struggled to find the inner meaning of practice outside of the physical. Through her patience as a teacher and her intentions throughout her classes I was able to connect to my practice mentally. Additionally, I started to gain strength in flexibility to do poses I would never even dream of. As you build on your practice, you will find those teachers that inspire you. She has been that for me. Allow Morgan to open your practice in ways you didn’t plan to, you’ll be so glad you did.

Morgan is an incredible teacher. She’s my absolute favorite! Through her sequencing, music, philosophy, and flows, her class is the best. She always is perfect for 1:1, if you need help modifying, breaking down poses, or working with an injury- she’s your girl. Can’t recommend her enough.

Morgan is the teacher that taught me to love the mat. She is an incredibly thoughtful and nurturing teacher, well-versed in giving students what they need while challenging us to grow at the same time. With an inspiring practice of her own it's hard not to be inspired myself! She has excellent sequencing which always prepares me well for the most difficult parts of class. 1-1 she has provided key insight that has helped me broaden my practice. Whether it's improving my backbends, inversions, or discovering my limits, I always gain something in our sessions.
