I started as a photojournalist, so I make it my business to get the best products within the most difficult environments, and with limited equipment. This forces me to think critically and creatively, even outside of a photojournalism job. I believe in ethical products that capture people in their best light rather than illustrating something false. I honestly enjoy meeting new people and producing something that even a stranger can appreciate. I always feel that by the time the photo shoot is finished, I have made new friends as well as delivering something that will be cherished by the client.

Shelby shot my engagement photos on Kyle Field at Texas A&M. She showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently. We got our photos back the next week and they turned out better than I expected. We loved working with Shelby and would for sure do it again!

My fiancé and I had Shelby take our engagement pictures and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. She helped is stay calm and relaxed during the stressful process and was able to both, pose us in creative ways and also take direction on what we wanted to do. The photos were edited timely and beautifully and have been complemented by everyone who sees them. I will definitely hire Shelby again in the future.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hire someone who is personable. If you have to spend two hours with a person who will be telling you what to do, you want to be able to have fun with them. I would also suggest meeting up with them before the photo shoot if you can so you can come up with a game plan that will produce the best product for you.
