Agreed upon a time, mover asked to move it to a later time. Verbally and through text agreed to this. Mover kept saying he was “finna pull up”. I asked him to let me know when he was headed my way and I would head to the pick-up location. Called him multiple times to see where they were at. Mover was two hours later arriving than our agreed upon time. Asked what the deal was and he said that he had to get his wife from work at 6pm, but set up a moving time in another town with me at 5pm. Was supposed to pick up the truck at 2pm, but got the truck around 430pm. Then apparently the uhaul had issues and had to be returned. Main issue was lack of communication. It inconvenienced me and the seller both and he said that he was doing me a favor moving the time, which was not the case. The piano did make it to my home in mainly one piece, some minor damage along the bottom where it caught the driveway, bumper pull trailer, and asphalt street. I was assured that the mover had “plenty of experience moving pianos”. Would not recommend to a friend based off of my personal experience. All of this could have been avoided by communicating, and the job could have been taken care of at another time.
