The thing that most of our clients comment on about Shelton Productions is that it is obvious that we love what we do, and that excitement is transferred to the guest. Out DJs and MCs enjoy providing the perfect atmosphere for events and put a lot of energy into their service. The two other items that most people like about Shelton Productions are: 1. Most items are included in the price. Our packages include extras that the client get charged extra for by many DJ services. 2. Whenever possible, we send out teams rather than just a single DJ. This helps us to communicate with our clients while keeping the party going. I love the fact that we get to celebrate with all kinds of people all over the metroplex. It is an awesome experience getting to be an integral part of very special events in people's lives and helping to make them memorable.

The DJ was perfect! Fun, outgoing, and professional. Followed timeline & always checked in with the bride to get approval of upcoming events! :) Loved having Ken & Shelley both be a HUGE part of our special day!! ((Only DJ I know who would join in and do a keg stand to end the night! ;) haha)) 5 STARS!

I was so impressed with the shelton family. Our high school kids could not stop talking about ken and Kaitlin. In the words of our group they were AWESOME!!!!! The lights were cool and Ken was great to keep us informed when he felt the kids were getting tired. Ken was very careful to be sure the words to the songs played were appropriate which kept the chaperones at ease. I will definitely use this DJ again. Ken thanks for everything!!!! Mary Gamache. Ken Shelton was a fabulous choice for our Dallas wedding reception!!!! He interacted with the guests and really got this party started. His personality is over the top! He was prompt and resourceful at setting up his equipment. (Even brought his own light show!) We had so many options to choose from. (ex. kareoke versions of songs, live instrument accompaniment) We were having such a great time that he stayed for an extra hour and a half longer than we had originally agreed upon. We will definitely be using him again!!!! Five stars just isn't enough for this DJ. I give him a full blown 10!!!!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly working to improve our services. We regularly attend Wedding professional and DJ events and conventions. We have graduates from the Dale Carnegie courses. We also have regular required practice sessions for all of our DJ teams where we practice in front of our peers and share ideas and suggestions to improve our craft.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It is a passion. This is truly something that we enjoy doing. All of our DJs are musicians so they all love music. They also all have a background in customer service, so they all have a love of working with people. Providing fun music while working with people is a natural fit for us.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We provide professional, mobile, DJ and MC services for our clients. We specialize in Wedding Receptions and Parties of all varieties.
