A terrible job was performed by this company and my roof is still leaking at the same spot after 1 month of repair completion. I called and asked them to fix it, instead they invoiced me for another $500, stating that this will be a new service order. I have now disputed that amount.

It is sad that to see an unhappy customer. I love my customers and will do anything I can to make them happy. I tried very hard to work with Shibu.
In 27 years in the roofing business I have run across exactly 5 people who have the "last guy to touch the problem owns the problem" syndrome. What I mean by that is, just because I attempt to help a customer with a roof repair doesn't mean that I extend a lifetime warranty on any and all problems with the system. Often times, roofs have problems in more than one area. I didn't install this roof, I don't know exactly where all of the problems could be on it, all I can do is try to help the customer find out the issue and keep working with the system until we remedy. I do know that this roof has problems that exist because of improper installation from the original installer. Roof repairs take patience and trust between roofer and customer and a willingness to pay a company for the time they spend working to try to repair someone else's mistakes. Roof repairs are not easy to do sometimes. This is exactly why a lot of roofing companies don't do roof repairs at all.
It is hard to take when you work very hard to gain trust and a good reputation and one person who refuses to be professional and mature can jeopardize that for free just by smearing around some untruths.
I work very hard for my customers. I worked very hard to build this business. I will not accept the rantings of a bully. I have to say my piece and defend myself and my company. I did not take advantage of this man or any other.
There are just some people who cannot understand (or refuse to understand, or just plain don't want to accept their situation) that $525 (the total amount billed to this man) doesn't buy you a new roof system.
I did not invoice this man for any additional money either. In fact, the only true statement in this paragraph is "I have now disputed that amount"
(*This individual lost his dispute. Both banks agree that RAI has done a very good job of trying to work with this man and they have determined that I am entitled to my pay for the work my company performed and the repairs that we did that are proper.)
