Tanya and I have been married for over 30 years. In that time, we have given birth to 3 and raised 4 ( my wife's nephew) beautiful young men and woman who are all productive members in society, and one college student. The majority of our married lives was spent pouring into our children, making sure their needs were taken care of educational, spiritually and socially. Now that most are grown and we are near empty-nesters, Tanya and I reached a point where we did not recognize each other. We spent so much time pouring into our children, we lost track of who we are as married couple. My wife found Pastor Devin Miller and his wife Candice at the right time in our marriage. We were on the brink of separation. Our sessions with CFC Counseling Services forced us to look at who we are to each other now, without the kids. We have grown closer together now than we've been in years. Tanya and I have started taking weekend getaways again, and really rediscovering who we are as a married couple again. Tanya and I are in a good place thanks to Pastor Devin, Ms. Candice and CFC Counseling, Consulting ,Coaching Services. We highly recommend them.

When we decided to explore pre-marital counseling, it seemed at first like a daunting task. There were so many choices, locations and "experts" to choose from. One thing we definitely wanted was for our counselor to have a faith-based approach. Our search was cut short when we came across CFC Counseling, Consulting ,Coaching Services. The introductory meeting with Pastor Devin Miller was so casual and informative. He shared a bit about himself, explained the purpose of his services, and set the expectation that pre-marital counseling is truly about opening our eyes to what a husband and wife should think about, discuss, and be on the page about when it comes to marriage. Devin is very down-to-earth, funny, and understanding. We felt like we were talking to a family friend that we've known for years. This gave us a strong level of comfort and allowed for us to fully be engaged in each session. Our sessions were never focused on 'problems' or 'issues', but he makes time for us to address them if needed. Meeting virtually was also an advantage and convenient for us, as we were still working our day jobs, settling into our home, and of course planning our wedding. We would meet at our scheduled time and log in and start the session. It was if Devin was in our home sitting right across the table from us. We could go on about how blessed we were to have come across CFC Counseling. They provided the foundational tools for us to build our already strong relationship that we still use today. Pastor Devin is very personable and professional. We were able to do pre marital counseling with him, which also gave us a chance to connect, and made our wedding ceremony more special when he officiated.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Counseling services(general)- $80/hr Cancellation fee - $75 (24-hour notice required to avoid cancellation fee. )
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a two hour initial session to set the series of counselling sessions unique to the individual or couple. We then hold those sessions with the final session being a moment of sharing between the couple what came out of the individual sessions. Our final session is an evaluation of the experience.

B.S. - Business Management, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities M.Div - Grace Theological Seminary and Institute Masters in Christian Leadership- Grand Canyon University
