Introduction

I have degree in Electrical Engineering as well as MEd and Certification in Teaching Mathematics in Secondary School. I have been in the field of education since 2004. I am excited to teach children of all ages and abilities from K-12. My mathematics skills are powerful, and I love teaching basic mathematical concepts with visual tools like tables, graphs, and diagrams, which makes sense to the beginners. I adopt both traditional and modern approaches, as both have their own advantages.

1. Never late, always gave updates on the rare occasion she was 2. Was thorough with her tutoring, and took care to make sure we fully understood the concept or equation she was helping us with 3. Had good communication with us, checked in before each class, and responded quickly to any texts/emails. She was altogether a very good tutor, and was patient in her teaching. She was a great help with school/home work and test prep. Mrs. K was my 7th grade tutor, and I was happy with the experience. -K & M

Humaira has been amazing providing support and guidance to my daughter while taking Algebra II Advanced in her Sophomore year. Humaira is a great planner, always being on top of every class and providing options to reschedule tutoring lessons when necessary. She increased the confidence of my daughter during tests and also helped on the validation of homework. Finally, she is super approachable for my daughter, she never was scared to talk or ask question to Humaira. Thanks a lot for your support!

The discounts are offered if the student book 6 or more sessions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I basically call the parent, and seek to understand the needs of my student. I then set up the schedule, and send a zoom link to connect with the student on the agreed day and time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have Masters Degree in Teaching Mathematics in Secondary Schools. I am certified in Texas for 7-12.
