I have used the Thumbtack app for years and have generally had good experiences with it. However, my recent experience with ApplianceRx Repair Service and Alex really stood out in a positive way. Alex took the time to thoroughly review the information and photos I sent about the issue and responded quickly with a clear, fair quote. Unlike many other contractors who simply replied with generic questions or sent unnecessary texts and emails, Alex was direct, professional, and solution-focused. Alex was on time, on a weekend and diagnosed my issue within minutes. He took extra time to ensure there were not additional issues, was thorough in his investigation and explained everything to me so I could understand. He fixed the problem immediately and charged a fair price. He left my laundry area better than he found it and informed me how to best care for my washer in the future as well.
