Austin is awesome. He’s very personable and professional. Me and my daughter take guitar ( electric/acoustic) lessons from him and really enjoying them. He’s great at changing lessons to what is needed to try and redirect frustrations I have into something more constructive. The man is a saint for patience. I fully recommend him.

I can't say enough good things about Austin.
I tried to teach myself guitar for over a year and got so frustrated with the progress that I almost gave it up. My desire to play however was strong enough that I decided if I was to continue, I needed a teacher.
I contacted Austin based on his rates (too low in my opinion) and the fact that he would come to my house for the lessons.
With his guidance and encouragement, I went from playing a few open chords and scales to playing the lead solo from Tennessee Whiskey (Chris Stapleton version) in about 6 weeks. I learned more in that 6 weeks than I had in the previous 2 years!
If you are wanting to learn guitar, or hone your existing skills, give Austin a shout. He certainly has my highest recommendation.

Austin has been giving me and my son in-home guitarlessons for several months now. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and easy to get along with. I immensely appreciate Austin's flexibility: he does not employ a one-size-fits-all approach, but rather builds his lesson plans around what the student is interested in and wants to learn. Austin is also very responsive; when life happens and plans change at the drop of a hat, he is always amenable to rescheduling, even if changes occur at the last minute. I definitely recommend Austin for anyone interested in learning guitar.

Austin has been a wonderful guitar teacher for our 13 yr old daughter. She looks forward to every lesson and we have seen her progress tremendously. Austin shares a love of music and is able to relate to her and help her not only understand the music, but also appreciate the music. We are thankful for him and highly recommend!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a free 30 minute trial lesson for new students. after the first lesson pricing is based on the length of the lesson.
$40.00 per 30 min lesson
$70.00 per 60 min lesson
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally I will use the first 30 minute trial lesson with a student as a way to get to know them a little bit. this way I can learn what style of music they are interested in, where they are at with their playing, and what their personal goals are. from this point I can tailor lessons personally to them so they learn music they love, while gaining the technical and musical tools needed to reach and surpass their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied guitar performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. I have several years of experience teaching one on one lessons, as well as in group lessons and ensemble settings
