FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have standard pricing but it is dependent on how much equipment that I need to use for the particular event. Pricing can begin as low as $75/hour (including set-up & take down time which is normally an hour). Prices increase from there for other accessories needed such as lights, fog machines, uplighting, additional sound, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All new customers get access to a new customer discount and (depending on the event) there are at least 2 meetings that occur prior to the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In the DJing aspect; unfortunately there isn't a formally recognized education/training to DJ. DJing itself is a craft and an artform and is never officially mastered. There is always new equipment, new styles of scratching, new music to familiarize yourself with. Everything in the aspect of DJing is done through practicing. On the business side, it is different. I'm educated in business management and have held several positions of management in retail and in small business.
