FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our programs are the most extensive (and dare I say most effective:)) in the area which does come with a price. If you are price shopping and want the cheapest, that won't be us. If you want the best, that's us. We are also the only independently certified trainer in Corpus Christi, tested by a third party (Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is a discovery phone call. This gives us a chance to get to learn more about their dog and training goals and see if we are a good fit to train together. If we're a match, we advise what training program would be the best fit for training goals, client's schedule, and budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BSc and MSc in Marine Biology and have been working as a professional trainer since 2007. I am a professional member of several animal training organizations (Association of Professional Dog Trainers, International Marine Animal Training Association, Animal Behavior Management Alliance) and I attend seminars, conferences and workshops on animal behavior. I am also a professor at the Animal Behavior Institute and teach classes on exotic animal, canine and feline training and a certified trainer.
