The biggest thing I'd want another homeowner to know: Sean did the job to code and pulled the permit and city inspection without hesitation. A lot of electricians won't do that. They'll quote you the same price and then cut corners — undersized cable, the wrong conduit, cheap components — and skip the permit so nobody ever checks. That's not just a code issue. If something ever goes wrong, an unpermitted, non-compliant install can be grounds for your insurance to deny the claim. You're paying the same money either way, so there's no reason to accept the version that puts your house at risk.
Sean also went out of his way to avoid creating extra work for me. He found a routing path that meant no cutting into drywall, which made the run significantly harder on his end. He could have taken the easy route and handed me a repair and repaint job. He didn't — he pushed through the harder install and didn't cut a single corner doing it.
On top of that, he's genuinely easy to work with. Friendly, patient, and happy to walk you through the options so you understand what the code actually requires and what the best decision is for your situation.
