- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My aim with every client is to get a solid understanding of their current styling challenges and what styling goals they want to achieve when partnering with me. I start out with a 15-30 minute complimentary phone consultation to discuss my client's specific needs and share detailed information about how my tailored services can meet these needs. The questions I ask during my initial phone consultation and future meetings are designed to enable customers to personally explore their motivations for seeking a new look and really help pinpoint the key areas they want to focus on. It can be a real eye-opening experience for them and it's always extremely insightful for me as their future Personal Stylist.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I believe that ongoing education and professional development is not only very important, but it greatly benefits my clients. I've completed Personal Styling, Fashion Styling, and Menswear Certifications at the School of Style based in Los Angeles. I am a member and chapter board member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), the leading global association for professional image consultants and wardrobe stylists. I'm also a member of Fashion Group International, a globally-based association that's an authority on the business of fashion and design. My role as a Personal Stylist is to keep a finger on the pulse of trends, so I regularly participate in exclusive fashion events and conferences across the country. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree of Business Education from Marymount University.
