It is a pleasure to work with Roxanne. I reviewed stylists in both New York and Washington, and she was by far the most professional. She takes a thorough approach to her clients' style needs and offers a comprehensive plan to nurture her clients' style. That includes a detailed overview of the client and her needs, a review of the closet, development of a fashion budget, fitting, and refinement going forward. She can work with clients anywhere in the world, and her locations on both the East and West coast provides some additional sartorial dynamism. I recommend her highly.Sep 19, 2015Verified
Roxanne is a true professional who is passionate about fashion and helping her clients. After doing some research, I hired her to go through my closet and do some shopping for me. I hate shopping so I didn't mind spending extra $$ for someone else to shop for me. My experience with her was very pleasant. I didn't have to leave the house to find clothes so that was a huge plus. The only reason why I am not giving her 5 stars is because she wasn't able to find as many pieces (clothes) for me as I would've like for her to. I have a hard time finding clothes that fit me right (especially tops) so I wasn't too surprised that she couldn't find many. Other than that, she is fun to work with, and is an excellent communicator. Some other stylist didn't respond to my emails right away and I didn't like that.Jul 19, 2016VerifiedRoxanne Carne | Personal Stylist's reply
Jeana, thanks so much for your review. You reminded me of all the fun we had together editing your closet and trying on your new wardrobe items. I’m still thinking about how great you looked in your new Kate Spade jumpsuit! Unfortunately, one of the main challenges stylists face is dealing with the lack of options for women in today’s ‘one size fits all’ world. Clothing designers really need to make more of an effort to be more inclusive in their offerings. I will be attending a fashion conference in New York this fall and I will advocate for woman of all shapes and sizes regarding this issue. I hope we get to work together again soon! Stylishly Yours, Roxanne Carne
Roxanne is an amazing stylist. She is extremely knowledgeable and educated me on which silhouettes work best with my body type. She was a great help in editing my current wardrobe and creating new ways to pair items. Roxanne made me excited to wear my clothes again (as I was in a style rut) and provided ideas on key pieces to buy that would be interchangeable and easily paired with my current closet. I would highlight recommend her to anyone looking for style solutions and would happily work with her again!Mar 10, 2019VerifiedRoxanne Carne | Personal Stylist's reply
Regina, thanks so much for your kind words - I really appreciate it! It was truly a pleasure working with you as well! And I'm so excited about our next styling engagement, too!
Roxanne is great. I really see no room for improvement. She has a very thoughtful and client centered approach which immediately made me see the value in my investment with her. Not only did she provide helpful advice, she also educated me on how to make quick and easy buying and styling decisions that fit my own personal style preference, body type, and lifestyle. If you’re on the fence about investing in a personal stylist, get off and choose Roxanne. You won’t regret it!Dec 17, 2017Verified
Working with Roxanne was a fantastic experience. It's like calling in the friend who really knows fashion and can not only help you figure out what to keep and what to get rid of, but makes sense of why you should get rid of it. It was well worth the cost, and I will definitely use her services again, as well as refer her to a few friends I know who are in the same boat as me.Oct 31, 2017

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My aim with every client is to get a solid understanding of their current styling challenges and what styling goals they want to achieve when partnering with me. I start out with a 15-30 minute complimentary phone consultation to discuss my client's specific needs and share detailed information about how my tailored services can meet these needs. The questions I ask during my initial phone consultation and future meetings are designed to enable customers to personally explore their motivations for seeking a new look and really help pinpoint the key areas they want to focus on. It can be a real eye-opening experience for them and it's always extremely insightful for me as their future Personal Stylist.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I believe that ongoing education and professional development is not only very important, but it greatly benefits my clients. I've completed Personal Styling, Fashion Styling, and Menswear Certifications at the School of Style based in Los Angeles. I am a member and chapter board member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), the leading global association for professional image consultants and wardrobe stylists. I'm also a member of Fashion Group International, a globally-based association that's an authority on the business of fashion and design. My role as a Personal Stylist is to keep a finger on the pulse of trends, so I regularly participate in exclusive fashion events and conferences across the country. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree of Business Education from Marymount University.
