BEWARE! THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU! I have never posted a negative review. I believe in giving people a chance before blasting them on the internet. However, after giving this company countless opportunities to make things right, others deserve to know what a piece of crap company really is. I contacted them in early January 2021 to come and look at my 6 foot Firemagic grill that needs cleaning and repairs. They sent someone out right away, nice guy, I paid the $80 or so for them to come out and was told I'd get an estimate in the next few days. That the grill could be ready by mid February. Fine, all good. Two weeks later, I get an estimate for $1,500. Fine. I want my grill fixed. Paid the $1,000 deposit they asked for on January 27, 2021. About a month passed without hearing from them so I contacted them through Thumbtack where I had initially contacted them. I look up the company and found a few 1 star reviews from people that never heard from them again after they paid their deposit. Naturally, this is where I started to worry. I sent them a few messages and they didn't respond. When I messaged them that I was going to request a refund, they got back to me right away. They told me they were moving and had not gotten to order the parts yet. Told me they'd get back to me in 2 weeks. A month passed and nothing. I reached out again March 10 and finally spoke to a guy who said they had two deaths in the family. I did not want to be inconsiderate. I paid my condolences. Gave them the benefit of the doubt. I was reassured they were waiting for parts that were on back order. That the parts were going to get there in a week and the work should be done by early April. I get a call from a girl named Crystal a few days later who confirms parts should be here by early April. All good. Was excited about my grill. Early April came. Nothing. I called again on April 6 and was told the parts were getting there that week. That they would call me the next week to schedule the repairs and cleaning. Week of April 12 came and went without a call. Out of stupidity, I decided to give them a fifth chance. Told them that I would consider not writing this review and getting a refund from the bank if they send me evidence that they had ordered the parts, which they did, SENT ME AN INVOICE SHOWING THAT THE PARTS WERE ORDERED APRIL 21, 2021. The better me decided to ignore the fact that they lied to me about the parts being ordered from the beginning. They then scheduled me for an appointment to get the grill cleaned and repaired to May 14, 2021. I took off work to meet them at my house. Scheduled time came and went. I tried calling their several numbers and no one answered. I finally get a call from them telling me that the repair guy scheduled for today is out at a funeral...again. Right. I was done. They tried messaging me that it's not their fault that their guy was at a funeral and that the parts were back-ordered...blah blah blah. Well, I would have believed that if they had not lied to me about ordering the parts in the first place. I'm done with the constant lying and excuses. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Expect to have your grill sit in disrepair for 4 months and worrying about getting your $1,000 deposit back. Posted conversations with them since January so y'all can see the truth.
