Introduction: A professional hair stylist and clothing designer, interior designer, David Wayne Rumpel is meticulous about every detail—hair health, beauty and style. He specializes in precision custom cuts, extraordinary color, highlights, lowlights, color correction, gentle permanent straightening, makeup, brow waxing, image makeovers, color analysis, private weddings, special events and much more for both men and women. His previous experience includes 14 years of visual merchandising where he evaluated and interpreted styles and trends for clothing and hair. Later, David Wayne graduated from architecture drafting school only to realize that career would not fuse his full range of skills. David Wayne excelled at Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School in 2000 and #8242, acquiring cutting-edge hair and color techniques. This was the career that married his skills and love of people. Recently, he is working with Home and Garden Network, doing hair and makeup for interior commercial designer Sarah Pickard during filming of the show. He has performed with Carson Kressley (Queer Eye For The Straight Guy), Stephanie Kocielski, Artistic Director for Paul Mitchell, and assisted Vivienne MacKinder, recipient of the NAHA Maser Hairdresser of the Year award. David Wayne works with Paws In The City Animal Rescue, donating his time at their annual fundraising events. He also designs costumes and hair for the Arthur Murray Dance Studio staff. David Wayne also is a ballroom dancer and works with many clients in the performance and arts industry doing special events, fundraisers for children, cancer and animal kindness groups.
