My education and advanced education from Toni & Guy helped me learn how to work with all different hair types and what to ask and look for when creating the perfect look for a client. In makeup artistry I have taken many advanced classes from TIGI cosmetics, James Ryder Makeup Labs, and Makeup Forever. I am always trying to expand my knowledge with classes, videos and trying new techniques and products. I listen well and make sure that I know what the client hopes to achieve in the finished look. I love braiding/updos and trying new and different ideas to create a beautiful result customized to each client. I get to try new things every day and meet new people!

krysta was great. She traveled to meet me at my hotel room before my wedding reception and did some exceptional hair and makeup. I gave some basic parameters to work with and her artistic skills and knowledge took over the rest. I loved the results and they lasted till the next day.

Krysta is awesome! She came to our home to do hair and makeup for my two daughters and me. She took her time with each one of us and did exactly what we asked for. She also suggested a couple of things that made us look even better. Love her personality and her attention to detail when working. Would definitely hire her again for any special occasion. Krysta has done my hair 3 times. Once for an updo and twice for cut and color. The updo was just lovely, definitely not something I could have done myself, and she spent a lot of time making sure it looked perfect from all angles. For my color, she spent time to make sure she understood the shade I wanted and it turned out exactly as I had intended. Her attention to detail is most important in the hair cutting portion though. She takes time to get things as you want them and gladly will edit anything you are not 100% happy with. Krysta also is naturally chatty, making time in her chair fly by. I instantly feel comfortable and not as though I have to manufacture things to talk about.

Krysta did a great job on my hair for a holiday event. I really didn't know how to vocalize what I wanted, but she managed to translate my dopey words into an enchanting style of soft, loose, romantic curls. It was very nice and didn't look too "done." it even managed to hold up to some moderate head banging when the band at the event played some 80's music. Besides it looking great, it was also very touchable, not sticky or crunchy. Krysta also took great care to make minor adjustments to best emphasize or play down certain facial features. If i could, i'd lock her in my bathroom to do my hair every day.
