- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on experience in the field. While I charge a hourly base price. Should a task prove to be more than just what would fall into the category of handyman work. I will then move to a fixed price in order to save the customer money while still making a fair compensation for the company.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet with my customer in person before any prices are discussed in order to go over the entire scope of the work. This ensures that there is no misunderstanding in what they want and what my work includes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
17 years ago I was looking to change professions being a mechanic by trade. I’ve always been good with my hands so I was offered the opportunity to work for a family friend and the rest is history as they say.
