I replied that I would like to use this photographer for my corporate meeting. I had to follow up with a phone call a week later as I didn't hear anything back. I then sent an email with the details - no reply. Sent another email that I needed to hear something back and no reply. Ms. Cotton, I am sorry that you had to cancel our verbal contract for your business meeting. I take my customer service very seriously. I try to treat my clients as I would expect to be treated. I did get an email from Thumbtack telling me you were going to hire me. We did speak 2 times on the phone to make arrangements and to pass details for the event. However, your emails went to my Spam folder and I never saw them until I got the email from Thumbtack saying you had cancelled the job with me. When I received that email, I began looking for any emails from you and thats when I found them in the Spam folder. I am sorry for any miscommunication, I just didn't know that you had sent me an email and was expecting a response by a given date. Audrea was a pleasure to work with and spent the time necessary to get the shots I needed. In fact, I had many more photos to choose from than I expected. She was on time and made it a comfortable experience. She also touched up the head shot I selected with Photoshop. I have to say she exceeded my expectations. - How did you get started doing this type of work?I started Photography when I graduated from High School, but couldn't afford the film processing. So I laid my craft down. Then about 15 years later, well I am a licensed Makeup Artist,, I was doing Live Broadway Shows and when I needed pictures of my work for my portfolio, I couldn't find a photographer that would give me what I needed. So, I bought the equipment and started studyingÃÂÃÂ¢ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ¦Started my own studio, worked for some major film companies and TA DAA..I love it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?The most common type of jobs I do for my client are, I come up with all the ideas for them to choose from. They tell me in general what they want, and little about their lifestyle and I come up with all the unique and different possibilities. They always ask, "how did you think of that?"
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Hire someone who loves what they do, not someone who just does this for the money. Your pictures will reflect the difference.
