QRS Player Piano Installation
Moving An Antique Square Grand
Photos and Videos
Stairway Pianos have been the best piano movers we have ever used. We have had to move our baby grand 3 times, and this was the easiest and smoothest by far. These gentlemen are very professional and know what they are doing. Moving a piano can be stressful, but I felt confident from the very beginning that our piano was in good hands. I highly recommend them!Apr 11, 2020Verified
I enjoyed my experience with Heuer Piano Service. Lucas happily drove out to East Texas and tuned a pitch raise on an old Piano I had moved into a Brewery and He accommodated my special request in tuning my personal home Studio Piano to 432Hz, Fun! I will be recommending and using Heuer Piano Service again. Thanks Lucas!Oct 2, 2019Review from GoogleStairway Pianos's reply
Daniel, it was great to meet you and I'm so glad you were happy with how the piano turned out. It was a pleasure to visit Sulphur Springs and thanks for showing me around!
Lucas came to my home and tuned my piano. He raised the pitch and fixed some keys that were not striking. I now enjoy sitting down to play! Thank you so much!May 21, 2020Verified
We had a young man by the name of Lucas I believe come and tune my piano that was made in the 1800's. He was very kind and courteous and actually taught me alot about my piano that I never knew! He did such a FANTASTIC job. What I really loved about going through stairway piano is that they tell you everything up front. And inform you as they are working on your piano. I love the honesty with the company! If my piano ever needs future work(which most likley it will) I will definatley contact them to get the job done right! Thank you again lucas! Oh yes and we also got a "celebratory " song afterwards 🤣Apr 25, 2020Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? While being serviced almost every piano needs some additional adjustment beyond just tuning. I will always try and resolve these small issues during the tuning. I will not charge for this additional work if it takes less than 20 minutes. If the piano has not been tuned in a long time it may require a pitch raise. In this case the total for a pitch raise plus tuning is $200.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I alway try and get to know my new customers. I want to find out how they use their piano and what they would like to get from the instrument. This can help me make recommendations that will really help them enjoy their piano playing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I studied at The Chicago School For Piano Technology before starting my tuning business. I am also a member of The Piano Technicians Guild and have earned RPT status. This means that I have passed a comprehensive series of exams in piano technology theory, tuning and repair.
