Did a great job. Their quote was very fair and on point. Work was completed in less than 4 hours and quote was about 500. Other companies quotes were atrocious, ranging from 700 - 2500. Either they don't know the job or hope to convert a few jobs that will pay great. One even estimated that it will take 2 days to install whole house filter and RO system under sink. The RO system under sink was a 20 minute job, and a company called Mastertex Home Services quoted 715 for that alone and another big figure for filter installation. Claimed they have 5 stars rating and are priced middle of market as well as bonded/insured etc after I called them out.

I was very impressed with how quickly Mr. Alabin got back to me and was willing to drive quite a distance within 24 hours to do the work! (When I first contacted him, my water filtering system was ordered but had not yet arrived) I got a few bids and Vlad’s was very reasonable. So, after system arrived and second contact was made, response was prompt, he was available within a short time, a mutually agreeable time was set, he showed up very promptly, was very courteous and careful preparing the area AND got right to work! Vlad was very professional and efficient installing the system; the makers recommended planning for 2-3 hours for a pro to install- he was done in an hour and a half, including drilling the necessary hole through granite without batting an eyelash and cleaning up very well after! It was so nice he was happy to help install a shower filter in a nearby bathroom as well.
To be honest, I was concerned that our system may have been installed improperly because it’s similar to an RO system, but has 14-points, so is more effective and complete (and more complicated) and from what I saw, he barely looked at the included instructions. After sending some pics to the maker a few days later, to verify correct installation, they confirmed to me everything was good.
Additionally, apparently I’m picky-my intended placement for the filter and 4-gal tank had to be changed to work around the disposal and switch locations. At first, I was frustrated that the filter hadn’t been moved all the way back along the sidewall to maximize space for my cleaners and other undersink storage (with the tank placement making access to the undersink outlet sketchy at best) but it has all worked out fine (with a little decluttering and rearranging).
Anyway, I’m very pleased with VA Water LLC service and won’t hesitate to hire again when I’ve saved up to get a whole house system. Absolutely 5 Stars!
