FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As with many photographers nowadays, I'm pretty flexible. Ask and ye shall receive.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a big blog reader and I love to play around on Lynda.com, the website responsible for teaching me Adobe Photoshop many years ago. There are countless tutorials, classes and exercises to engage in on the website. I also read many different photography and photography gear magazines. But, more than anything, I read the books of the masters. I train my eye more than I train my brain to know what the best camera available is this month.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a boy, I would draw. I mean, not just a little. I drew non-stop. All the time. Couldn't get me to put the dang pencil down. This desire to create brought me to painting when I was accepted to a art magnet high school. I explored many more mediums, and slowly began to realize that I simply wasn't very good at the craft of painting. I knew I loved to create two-dimensional imagery, specifically of people. I picked up a camera in my senior year and began to photograph my friends. I fell in love immediately. My first year of college, I then began to dabble with the full process of printing and developing in the darkroom. My fate was sealed from there.
