Introduction: While I definitely try to capture posed images, my favorites are the "in-between" shots. The candid shots in between poses always tend to be the most genuine and full of life. I put everything I have into each and every session, and work my hardest for every client. :) I absolutely love what I do! From actually photographing you and your loved ones during your session, to editing the final images, I love my job!

A memory may fade but a photo will last a lifetime. I was looking for a photographer that was going to caption a very special moment in my life. I was looking for someone that was going to be able to see what we were feeling in that moment, the genuine love we have, the twinkle in our eyes, and the excitement of our upcoming promise to share our life together. We are soo lucky we found Alison because that is exactly what she did! Right from the start we knew she was the one; fun, friendly, had great energy; we knew she loved what she did. She worked with us to discover our goals and style. We are a couple that had no clue what we were doing and she guided us every step of the way, encouraging our creativity but also guiding us as only a professional can do. She captured exactly what we wanted in our engagement photo session; we just wanted to always remember how we spend a typical day in this moment of our lives. (Our walks in the park, urban lifestyle, spending time with our dogs, and patio drinks). I am very confident that she will caption all the perfect shots at our wedding, and I plan to have her continue to capture our lives as our family grows and evolves. I highly recommend Alison if you find yourself looking for that special someone to capture a memory that you just don't ever want to lose sight of.

Been using Alison since she started and I was a fan from the get-go. She has and will always be our family photographer. Great rates, but above all, you can tell she truly enjoys what she does and goes out of her way to include you in the creative process. Awesome experience every time!

She has done such a great job with my girls' baby pictures!!! The whole session is always such a pleasure, even with crying babies because she is excellent with them. I'm so thankful to have her capturing their milestones!

We booked a mini-session with Alison for our 1 year old daughter. She was flexible with scheduling and the pictures turned out great. We liked them so much, I gifted a mini to my sister and her family - and she said it was the best Christmas gift she'd ever received. She has a 3 year old and said Alison was great with engaging her 3 year old. Her work is also affordable which is a nice bonus.

I walk my new clients through what to expect with each session every step of the way. From wardrobe to location, I make sure my clients have everything they need to fully prepare for a successful session or wedding!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self taught but have attended many paid workshops by award winning photographers across the country. I am in my 3rd year of business.
