FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every mold job starts with an assessment so you know exactly what you're dealing with before any work begins. We provide detailed, line-item estimates written in Xactimate, the same pricing platform insurance companies use, so our pricing is transparent, industry-standard, and defensible if a claim is involved. There are no hidden fees: your scope of work spells out exactly what will be done and what it costs. If your loss is covered by insurance, we work directly with your adjuster to make sure the approved scope reflects what the job actually requires.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an inspection to identify the moisture source and the extent of the mold, mold is always a symptom of a water problem, and if you don't fix the source, it comes back. From there we write a clear scope of work and handle all Texas compliance requirements, including state notifications and the Consumer Mold Information Sheet, so everything is done by the book. During remediation we use containment, HEPA air filtration, and proper removal and disposal, then dry and treat the affected areas. We document the entire job with photos and moisture readings, and we don't call it done until the space is clean, dry, and safe.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a Texas-licensed Mold Remediation Contractor (TDLR License #MRC2213). Our work follows the IICRC S520 standard for professional mold remediation and the S500 standard for water damage restoration, and we comply fully with the Texas Mold Assessment and Remediation Rules (TMARR), including all state notification requirements. Our team is experienced in moisture diagnostics, psychrometrics, containment protocols, and proper equipment sizing (dehumidification, air scrubbers, and HEPA filtration) along with insurance-grade documentation of every job.
