Introduction: I am an award-winning artist and have had the pleasure of working with a couple of country music artists, as well as studio work with Justin Boots in additon to my bridal work. I became a certified makeup artist a couple of years ago but I've loved makeup for over a decade. I had the pleasure of getting my sister ready for her wedding back in 2015, yet I didn’t think to make bridal and special event hair and makeup my career. I apply makeup traditionally, and I love elevating and amplifying my clients features. My job is so rewarding because I get to accentuate natural beauty for such an important day! Annie came to our home to do my daughter’s makeup for her quinceañera photography session. It was to be held outdoors and her makeup held up in this July heat. She was also on time and completed my daughter’s makeup at the time she estimated, which was great because it gave my daughter enough time to get dressed and ready. Most importantly the makeup looked great!

Annie did a great job on my wedding makeup! I was a little apprehensive at first after the trial; I felt like my trial makeup wasn't what I had shown her in my inspo pictures. However, we talked about the changes I wanted to make, and she took all of those changes and delivered! I loved my final bridal look.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Aside from service prices I do have a travel fee added for being onsite which is calculated based on distance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my certification back in 2021! I learned application techniques, color matching, and proper sanitation protocol.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After COVID, I was really evaluating what would make me happy. I was doing something that didn’t make me happy and didn’t provide for my family. My husband ultimately urged me to think about what I would love to do, and I took a leap! I’ve never looked back and I always look forward to work.
