What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices range from $25-$38 an hour. Rates are determined by the estimated number of hours that the student will need. The more hours needed, the lower the rate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As of now we are just beginning to grow. As the trends change, so will we. We remain alert and up to date with others in the business and collect feedback from clientele very term to adjust our approach.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've tutored in the past and I very much enjoyed it. I just wanted to help out in this arena and ended up enjoying it so much that I became more and more involved.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Tutoring positions are the most common type of jobs in our organization and field.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Calling clients to receive feedback on tutoring performance and their level of satisfaction with the services gives us a sense of pride in the accomplishments we make.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Compare your options. Most tutoring agencies overcharge for private tutoring, and won't come to your house to tutor the student. Who the tutor is also makes a big difference in the way the student absorbs information. Evaluate the type of experience and relationship with the tutor you want the student to have.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish customers knew that tutoring is a gift that not everyone can perform well. It takes a very special person to deliver information in a way that is understandable for the student and also gives them confidence.
