FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The more the merrier! $75/ hour is for 1 or 2 people. Any additional clients are another $30/ person. This allows you to bring friends and family to join, while also taking the price per person down to a much better rate while keeping the same session times.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First is a meet and greet to discuss goals and expectations. This is the part where I sit and listen to the needs of my client. Next, I draw up my initial program with progressions to present to the client. Again, I listen to their feedback and make modifications as needed. After that, we have our first session and meet again. I ask for feedback on the session and ask if anything needs to be altered. If so, I include changes immediately in the following session. I do this until it’s perfect for both the client and myself. It’s an ever changing model that is different for all my clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a graduate of the National Personal Trainers Institute. While it’s not an accredited organization like a vocational school or colleges. However, the training was a 6 month, 4-day a week, 5 hour a day course dedicated to nothing but personal training. We covered anatomy, biomechanics, nutrition and a variety of exercise modalities. Along with that, we were taught by a 20 year professional who knew the industry backwards and forwards. Everything he taught us had science and facts to back up his teachings. We had weekly sessions that he supervised and corrected as needed. I had three months of training under my belt before I put my first application in.
