- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read almost anything I can get my hands on. New techniques, methods, philosophy. I am particularly interested in Cesar Milan's way of training. I have been to a few of his boot camps.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a manager/supervisor for many years. When my old girl Sasha was 16 yrs old(her health started failing) I decided to start looking for a puppy before she passed away. I was blessed to have 2 of the most rambunctious girls choose me. They came home with me at 6 weeks old. I have been teaching them ever since. They went to work with me everyday.(I managed a doctors office) When they got to big to go to work, I decided to change my path in life to accommodate them and started doing what I loved. Caring for and working with dogs.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach them how to interpret what their pets are trying to communicate and how to correct unwanted behaviors before they become bad habits.
