- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always call Veritas before you call in an insurance claim. We are happy to be a second or third opinion and will inspect your roof for free. We regularly inspect roofs that have no issues, but, another contractor has told our client they need a new roof now. That is why we named ourselves Veritas - it’s the Latin word for Truth. When it comes time to select a contractor, make sure they will guarantee their install of the roof for life, make sure they provide you a certificate of general liability insurance with you named as the insured, and you should never have to pay a dime until the work is complete.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Do you have general liability insurance? Do you remove all layers of the roof? Will you have a company employee supervising the job? Do you provide a transferable lifetime guarantee on your install?
