Among the many reasons Urban Asset stands above other local property management companies is that our commitment to our investors is taken personally by each team member. We build quality long term relationships opposed to short term quantity. The basic principles to our success are managing each asset as if we own it, same day communication with our clients, quality tenant placement, and guaranteeing our services. Saving our investors money on repairs is another way Urban Asset if different from the masses. We have our own in house maintenance department which is a huge savings to our investors as repairs are being done at cost opposed to a sub contractors inflated rates and then the management company's up charge (in most cases) on top of that. All of our maintenance techs are licensed in their filed IE... HVAC, plumbing etc... and they work directly for Urban.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    We provide property management services for single family, multi -family, condos and HOAs. We provide landscaping services through out the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex. We provide a full turn key service for rehab projects, standard make ready turns, and general repairs and maintenance.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

    We were selected by Colony American Homes to manage their Texas portfolio while they were in the buy up / acquisitions phase when they began expanding nation wide and started plans of internalizing management in each region. Our leasing team average 52 leases per month during the lease up phase and our management team effectively managed 1800 single family homes in Texas for CAH from 2011 to 2014. Urban was named their premier management company for CAH nation wide.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Many investors get trapped into contracts with no way out unless a high penalty fee is paid. I would recommend not signing an agreement with a company that does not believe in the quality of their own services and retains clients by forcing them to continue their contracts if they are unhappy with the service. If a company will not offer you a 30 day out clause in your management agreement you should question the reason why.
